이솝우화 참 곤란합니다 --;

학원에서 영어 해석을 해오라는군요
[영어학원은 아니구요]
하루에 한페이지씩이지만 상관은 없지만

웬지 -ㅁ-;; 모르니깐 짜증나요




The bald Man and the Fly

대머리남자와 파리[모기일듯 한데 --;]

A Fly bit the bare head of a bald man who, endeavoring to destory it,
gave himself a heavy slap. Escaping the Fly said, mockingly,

"you who have wished to revenge, even wish death, the prick of a tiny insect,
see what you have done to yourself to add insult to injury?"

The bald man said,

"I can easily make peace with myself, because I know there was no intention to heart.
But you, an ill-favored and contemtible insect who delights in sucking human blood,
I wish that I could have killde you even if I had incurred a heavier penalty."

교훈: Revenge will hurt the avenger[복수는 자신에게 되돌아온다]





해석은 어색해서 못 적겠구요 -ㅁ-;

겨우겨우 해석 했어요 -_ㅠ
